Privacy notice
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This is a courtesy translation; the Spanish version prevails.
1. Who is responsible. Frutero, LLC, a Delaware (United States) limited liability company, with address at 1111B S Governors Ave, STE 37326, Dover, DE 19904, United States, is responsible for your personal data when you use Budi (budi.lat and app.budi.lat). Privacy contact: privacidad@budi.lat.
2. Data we process. Identification and contact (name, email, basic Google account info if you sign in with Google); professional profile (your CV and its contents, search preferences, saved form answers, expected salary if you give it); activity in Budi (jobs found, evaluations, tailored CVs, applications prepared or sent); payment (processed by Stripe; Budi does not store your full card details); site usage through cookies (pages, buttons, device, browser, visit source such as a campaign). Budi does not ask for sensitive data (ethnic origin, health, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation); please keep it out of your CV. When a company form asks for it voluntarily, Budi only answers the way you set in your Preferences; if you set nothing, it answers “prefer not to say” when the form allows it, or leaves the question blank.
3. Why we use it. Needed for the service: your account and sign-in; finding, scoring and tailoring for jobs; preparing applications and sending them with your authorization; billing; support and important notices; preventing abuse. Additional, you can refuse: improving Budi’s performance (aggregated or de-identified where possible), measuring our campaigns, product news. To refuse the additional uses, email the privacy contact at any time; it does not affect your access. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
4. Who we share it with. The companies you apply to are the only third parties that receive your personal data, and only with your authorization: either you approve each application before it is sent, or you turn on Managed submission, which lets Budi send applications on your behalf until you turn it off. Each company handles what it receives under its own privacy notice. Service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, storage, sign-in, agent runtime, AI models, analytics, payments), some outside Mexico, may only use it to provide their service to us. Authorities only when a law requires it.
5. Limiting use. Turn off Managed submission; set in your Preferences how to answer optional form questions; close your account; ask us to stop the additional uses; disable or delete cookies in your browser.
6. Your ARCO rights. You can Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object to the use of your data, and withdraw consent, by emailing the privacy contact with your name and a way to reply, proof of identity (or of your representative’s), which data and which right, and anything that helps us find your data. We answer within 20 days and, if it applies, act within the next 15 days. It is free. If you disagree with our answer you can go to Mexico’s Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno. We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to cancel your data, we deactivate the account and block your data: we stop using it for any purpose and keep it only to meet responsibilities arising from the service, for the limitation period set by the applicable law (for example, payment records and tax obligations). When that period ends we delete it and, if you asked, tell you. Aggregated or anonymized information that no longer identifies you may be kept to improve Budi. Applications already sent stay with the companies that received them.
7. Cookies. We use our own cookies to keep you signed in and PostHog analytics cookies, shared between budi.lat and app.budi.lat, to understand site use and which campaigns work. You can disable or delete them in your browser; the site works without analytics.
8. Changes. We publish any new version at budi.lat/en/privacy with its date and, for important changes, notify you by email or in the app.
9. Consent. When you create your account you tick “I accept the privacy notice”, giving your express consent to the processing described here, including financial data (your expected salary and your payment status).
